Getting Started

Creating a MATRIX account takes a few minutes. You'll need a valid email address and your date of birth.

Create your account

1. Open MATRIX and choose Create account.
2. Enter your name, email and a strong password (at least 8 characters — a passphrase is better).
3. Enter your date of birth. MATRIX is for ages 11–17; this is validated again server-side.
4. Upload an age-verification document (a birth certificate photo or accepted ID). It goes to a private bucket, is reviewed by a human, and is never sent to the AI.
5. Verify your email with the link we send you.
6. Complete your profile (school, grade, country) and you're in.

Guardian consent

Depending on your country and age, a parent or guardian may need to provide consent. The onboarding flow walks you through it; the security team reviews submissions and you'll get a notification when it's approved.

Sign in

Use your email and password, or continue with Google or Facebook. If you've enabled two-factor authentication, you'll enter a 6-digit code from your authenticator app after your password.
