Reporting

When something goes wrong, reporting helps protect you and everyone else. MATRIX separates three kinds of reporting:

Platform report

The /report form files a private report to the MATRIX support team. It includes what happened, what was affected, and whether you have evidence. Reports are protected by Row Level Security — only you and the support team can see yours.

Official reporting

For formal action, MATRIX points you to verified official organisations — for example the FTC (US), Action Fraud (UK), Scamwatch (AU), the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, or the Digital Security Agency (BD). These are stored in the reporting resources database with verification timestamps.

MATRIX never invents reporting URLs or phone numbers. Only verified resources are shown.

Platform reporting

Most apps (WhatsApp, Instagram, email providers) have built-in report buttons. Report the scam account there too — platforms can take it down.
